Many TT brands have logos printed in one of the sides .Does anybody know how to get rid of the printed veneer without damaging the wood?

There should be some sort of solvent that should do it. Acetone, perhaps - or MEK.

Why do you need to remove the logo? Using transparent red OX pips?
