Blade: WRM Gokushu2
FH: S&T Secret Flow 1mm
BH: S&T Monkey ox
Is either of these blades significantly stiffer than the other? Which is better for blocking?

shouldn't they be same construction (ones that are made nowadays), except the handle?

If the WRB is head-heavy with a hollow handle and the other is better balanced and more solid, does it make much difference in performance?

i play with offensive classic WRB. it might be head heavy if someone used two heavy inverted rubbers, but with one heavy and other SP/MP with 1,0 - 1,5 mm sponge, there is no head heaviness, interesting

i did not have classic version to compare, it would be interesting to see difference, just as well for allrounds

I personally think that WRB is a positive feature. WRB should vibrate a bit more, that is good for short blocking.

I have an opinion that Stiga Allround is designed for loopers and not good for blockers. I played Hypertech (CR WRB version of Classic) and did not like the feel of 802-40 on it. I cannot remember how l liked or disliked my 837 side on it.

maybe you should try the Offensive Classic instead. It seems that it's noticeably stiffer and not too fast.
I got this suggestion from my own topic. Plus I know a very good blocker who is using it. He's a pure blocker at around 2100 USATT.

Have a look at Stiga's NCT series. I really liked allround NCT, a little harder and faster but with fantastic control. Tried it for chopping but the dwell time was too short. Don't know if it blocks better than ordinary allround though.

offensive classic: spruce in middle ply kills some of spin making it better for control and block. allround and clipper classics are pure loopers blades, both only limba and ayous construction

Sorry but I have to disagree. Clipper is also a very good hitters and blockers blade. It's the classic short pips blade. I would pick the Clipper over the OC anyday.

ok, clipper is fast and stiff, i agree with all you say, but its speed must be taken into account. and OC is also not ideal anyway, just to add, because its outer layer is not hard
