I played a guy a month back using tenergy 05 on both sides of an amultart.

It was a bit fast for him.

Loving the sound of the Amultart more and more. More speed than the Gergely. More control than the Gergely. Sounds like my next logical blade LOL. Twice the price of my Gergely...hmmm! It will take a while!

Ive got an Amultart if anyone is interested, I sanded it down a bit to make it lighter so the head is a bit smaller than most butterfly blades - its more a donic/andro kind of head I think - very good nic

I read somewhere that Amultart suited German and Japanese rubbers but not Chinese rubbers. Has anyone tried it with Chinese rubbers? Which ones? How did it go?

Now MM such a pity you didn't tell me about it a year ago lol. So what didn't you like about it that you got rid of it? Was it just too fast for your liking?

At the time I was using pimples with Amultart, and found it did not suit me at the time as I wanted to chop!!!

Too fast for it, so I slowed down and found more suitable allround-def blades.

Silly me

Ah so I hear remorse in your words for selling it off Monkey. It does look very nice. Did you superglue/polish the handle or did it come like that?

I think at that time I had so many blades and racket combos, I didnt know what to do with them.
I had something like 20 blades in storage and 4 containers of cut and new rubber in storage. I was spending alot of money to satisfy my Equipment Addiction.
I remembered I had 3 exact setups with the P1-r in 0.6mm. Butterfly Amultart, Butterfly Primorac Carbon and the yin-he/Galaxy W-2.
Out of the 3 I kepted the W-2 and got rid of the others in the garage sale.
It was a big load off my shoulders to not being able to bring a small arsenal of weapons everytime I went to play table tennis.

it is incorrect to say european or japanese or chinese rubbers don't work with a blade.

most inveretd rubbers work with most blades ...depending on the game we play.

very few specialized blades or rubbers may not perform to ones liking in wrong combo.

i played amultart with chinese japanese and euro rubbers... everything worked. i am settling for tenergy 1.9 BH (or gambler outlaw), and BW2 FH (or tenergy max)

both work well... just matter of choosing tenergy on only one side to balance the weight.

I happlily played the Amultart with FH/BH 2.2mm XhuShaoFa LSZ II.
Later I happily played the Amultart with FH/BH 2.2mm Hurricane II
Currently I am happily playing the Amultart FH/BH 2.1mm Tenergy 25.

Of course Tenergy 25 is the only booster/speed glue closest equivalent of boosted Hurricane II on the market today.
The Amultart I play with is 88 grams. If Tenergy 25 was a bit lighter, I would use my 91 gram Amultart as it has
noticably more power and solid feel.

Why don't you give Outlaw a go on the Amultart JSR? Outlaw is a fairly light rubber.

i played outlaw with amultart for last few days...

little more consistent than tenergy 05 particularly in humid days ... but...

spin is definitely a problem... you get moderate spin on slow shots, hardly any spin moderate shots, and decent spin (not like t05 though) on power shots.

i am switching to blue whale 2 red label tomorrow ..
