Blade: Bty Gergely T5000
FH: TSP Regalis Blue Max
BH: Tibhar Grass Dtecs
Another nice review on the TSP BB. I like the way you described the softness of the balsa at first with the harder plies then kicking in. Sounds like a very decent blade. I like to block, but I also like a faster blade than most blockers seem to like (mainly cos I love to smash unreturnably as well lol). 7mm is not too thick either. Pretty expensive though.

Doesnt 8.5 have a fibreglass layer? And if so. The dark ply in this might be fibreglass as well?

The 8.5 has a fiberglass layer over the crosscut Balsa core and is covered by a thin topsheet veneer...anyone who has tried my Bat says what great feel it has as well as its very versatile with the rubbers I use...I like to use the phrase"It has all the Gears"

That a pingpongstephen (he posts all that youtube videos of the sydney players) uses the 8.5 with tibhar grass ox and omega 3, i agree it has great feel for such a fast blade.

I'm pretty sure they all have this, the only difference is the thickness of the balsa layer...

Sounds like the 4.5 will be just right for me

It is a quality blade to be sure and I think they miss a trick by not marketing its strengths with pips. I don't find the BT and harder to control on this than I do the Aurora, despite the speed being up a bit and I also think the forehand is much more solid than Aurora, so I'm really happy with my TSP 4.5. My Meteor arrived yesterday so is now glued up on my old FW+ and it will be in direct competition with the BT on TSP 4.5. Then I will pick one for the start of the new season.

Do I read correclty if the TSP 5.5 is great for a inverted looper too ?
Because of my Elbow and shoulder problems I may be tempted to try a very light blade.
What do you guy?s feel about that ?

It can certainly work with the right rubbers. I've got H3 on it at the moment and it feels too hard for my liking.
