I already had a hit with my new Aurora blade with 729FX 1mm blue sponge on the FH side and Bomb Talent ox on the BH side.
The weight is 73gr and 125gr with my rubbers.
The handle is 100mm long x 28mm x 23mm.
The paddle is 155mm x 161mm.
This is a typical springy balsa feel blade. The blade is hard and stiff on both sides. I would rate FH as OFF- and BH as ALL+.
The hard feel on long pips (BH) side make it quiet insensitive to spin what makes you change the angle of your bath when pushing. You must open less than with other blades, other wise you ball went up.
Attack with pimples is easier and very effective.
With FH side, loops are quiet easy and hits are greats and very fast. Because oh the short dwell time, pushes gives less backspin than with other softer blades.
Of the table chops are easy and the speed makes it easier to bring balls back.

Conclusion: A great blade for active allround play with long pimples on BH and backside on FH.

I stay with this blade for the moment, trying to make my game more aggressive than with my further Stiga Allround Evolution blade.

i use the hallmark combination for mainly chopping on both wings with the odd fh topspin. it has great control and is very light. the fh side is definetly not off though. probably all+ the bh is around all-. it has a balsa core and a fairly slim handle. it is very good with lp

Blade: Hallmark combi
FH: Hurricane 2 red side
BH: Curl P1 r .5. black side
Played the aurora this eve. It played superb
Solid control, reliable, good power and great feeling..I also have the Hallmark combination blade which is also light, a little smaller, and also plays very nicely. Hallmark blades are lovely. As for
Rubbers I played juic neo anti, and juic spin spiel.
One thing about the aurora is massive feeling very light and balanced. It's balsa and has little vibration so you feel in total control. It would be great with pips....in fact may try a couple of lps with it at some stage....I'm not a great fan of oversized blades, however the aurora I'd make the exception. As it's so well balanced and pretty light, you dont really notice the over sizedness.
