Best thing to do is ask them - does the number correspond with a scale used elsewhere, or is it a Durometer reading?

True. Tom at Zeropong is super friendly and helpful when I've called and asked questions before.

UPDATE: so Tom said the Oh Toro hardness scale is similar to Butterfly's, but not directly equivalent. Due to different cell structure, the Oh Toro compresses more (thus feels softer) than a Butterfly with the same hardness rating.

So I finally got sheets of Volt-M and Volt-T. In my unofficial finger pinch test, Volt-M is harder than Xiom Vega Europe (42.5deg) and softer than Vega Pro (47.5deg), so I can say it's around 45deg on ESN scale. Volt-T is a tiny bit harder than Vega Pro, so around 48-50 degrees.

Volt-M and Volt-T available on Zeropong website.

Testing max sponge Volt-T forehand and max sponge Volt-M backhand

Initial impression positive.
With my technique the black rubbers have more spin compared to red.
Short game needs to adjust to faster o-toro sponge.
Lighter than Burst/Thor's Hammer.

Plays well on my BBC blade.

After 6 months of use.

Highest quality Gambler products to date.
Great value.
I use plastic protectors to keep topsheet tacky.

Volt-T better than DHS Hurricane 3 Neo available in USA.

Good match for my current level of play.

Only 2 smaller clubs open in North Bay Area.
I used to play 5 hours a week.
Close to middle distance player.
Due to accident no play next 2 months.
