My two forehand rubbers for upcoming season arrived:

Topsheets both feel grippy but non-tacky. Z2 looks a little 'rougher' than EL-S, EL-S looks a little darker

Set-ups will be:

1) JSH + Donic Bluestorm Z2 1.9 + Donic Spike P1 1.0
2) JSH + Tibhar Evolution EL-S 1.7 + Butterfly Feint Long II 1.0

Sponge looks quite similar. Hardness Bluestorm = 47,5°, while EL-S = 45°
Weight is also very similar (so EL-S would be heavier if it had the same thickness as Z2)

Really looking forward trying them next week. Will also compare both with my previous FH-rubber (Donic Bluefire JP02 2.0). I expect these rubbers to be a little faster and spinnier, but I chose for slightly thinner rubbers.

More to come.

Other experiences and comments are welcome!

I've tried them both, and like both of them. The Z2 feels quite a lot more lively with stronger glue feel. Both are very spinny rubbers and good speed, I think you'll like them too.

Good to read you, Haggisv!

Suppose you also tried JP2? Is Z2 a lot bouncier than JP2?

I didn't find JP2 too bouncy, maybe it is more similar to EL-S than to Z2?

Can you make comparison with JP 03?
Im using JSH and JP 03 which was your setup too until recently so Im sure you can make comparison in regard to speed, throw angle, hardness and chopping ability.
