I have been using blue Victas V15 extra, with black V401 on the other side. Before this I used the same rubbers anyway, but in black red. It's been a good talking point as non black/red colours are relatively unusual still. Can't say I notice any great difference in playing qualities.

When I first changed my only problem was occasionally having my bat the wrong way around, as black was previously my forehand and is now backhand!

I tried a purple sheet of a Joola rubber. Was kinda fun to try and it did get a little conversation going. Last tournament I was at there were a number of players using a different color sheet, mostly kids but a few adults too.

I think the green long pips are quite popular.

I've got V15 Extra blue as well but haven't put it on yet.

My clubmate uses Tibhar Green rubber and I played against another that used purple joola rubber.

If you've been watching Adam Bobrow's channel you'll notice he's been playing with a green/black bat for a while now. I suppose that makes sense, he's sponsored by Andro. So I went to see what green sheets I COULD get from Andro. It turns out it's pretty much limited to three of the newer Rasanters - R45, R48 and R53. These retail (on TT11) for EUR52.46 - REALLY expensive for me. R53 is anomalously cheap for the next 13 hours (EUR39.34). I don't see cheaper green sheets coming to market until they run low in stock on the cheaper sheets and have to make more.

At the smaller club we attend there are a couple of guys with different color rubbers. One older guy (who is very good) has a green rubber and one of the coaches has a blue rubber; both are double inverted players. I currently have one blue LP and plan to get a sheet of green LPs soon.

Personally, I love that they opened up new colors and I hope it becomes more widely used (I believe it will with time). No, it doesn't change anything drastically in the sport, but it opens up more choices and customization and just adds another fun aspect. I do hope more companies start making more rubbers in other colors, so everyone has the opportunity without having to change rubbers. And as new colors become more widely used, those who are worried about another color making it easier for their opponent to read their twiddle won't have to worry as much since inverted players are also using new colors and the "newness" will wear off eventually. Just my .02

The Grass in the green color has got to be one of, if not the most, popular color/rubber combination. It's "grass" after all!!!

Now that I'm going to stick with Hellfire X for a while, I ordered a sheet in purple and a sheet in green. I was hoping that it would be in pink but I didn't see it.

I have seen no one with non red/black rubbers. None of the rubbers I've been interested in trying come in other colors. Sad, cuz I wanted to try it out!!!

I now have some green Saviga V long pips in OX (also sold in blue and pink). I have two sheets that I added sponge to. I really cannot tell much if any difference with my red sheets. I like it, I just wish they came with my preferred sponge thickness.

After many years of going back and forth I have finally decided all inverted rubber for me is black and my LP are red/green etc.

After Zhou Xintong started using a special version of Saviga V it seems it became very popular in China.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=zhou+xintong+tabletennis
There is a video in above list about the special version but I do not know if the rubber is still available or where
And I do not know what they mean by special version, such as if it is treated to violate ITTF regulations.
I don't treat pips & am not for it. I have tested some & had pips fall off after 15 minutes.
Of course I have never used them in a tournament.

This player I know is from China & is about 1900 USATT. He is a penhold TPH twiddler & very effective & very smart.
He only blocks with Saviga 5 & I don't think it is a chopping rubber.
I tried regular Saviga V just to test & it is not as variational as the special version for sure.
Regardless Zhou Xintong is amazing.
I do not know of any other pro player male or female, shakehand or penhold, using long pips on forehand
Of course there may be 100s of amateurs in China etc

I assume Saviga 5 is Saviga V (V being the latin way of writing five)??? I have never heard of any special versions-I get the cheapest one from Colestt or other sources.

Played with a sheet of green 729 Cross in my local comp last week. Paired it with a Yasaka Sweden Extra. Wasn't bad at all, a little slow and spin was just average but kept the ball on the table. My results were the same as using my usual set up.

Has anybody seen a dramatic improvement in their game due to changing to one of the new colours? If you haven't,do you know anyone who has dramatically improved their Game and level by just using the new colors?

I just find this new trend useless to improve this sport except for the pockets of some officials in the ITTF ranks .
