I have samples of this in its 3 versions; Pro, Euro and Asian.

This is yet another ESN rubber but this time claiming to be something special. It is unashamedly meant to be a German rival for Tenergy, claiming to last twice as long as any other ESN rubber.

The price will be very impressive.

I still have samples in packets and posted one today to Australia's #1 William Henzell (the pro version) so his feedback will be interesting. The softer version (Euro) and harder sponge (Asian) will be looked at soon.

It will be interesting to see if this is hype or if it has potential, and maybe the Germans have something to rival T05.

I bet it's very similar to the last lot that was released - Barracuda, Hexer...

The one William was impressed with was Express Xplode by Joola.

It's for sale on iruiru.com/e/

If the currency converter I used was correct, they're selling it for about $32. That's about $20 less than Tenergy, right?

Can we be expecting a Vega review sometime soon? *crossing fingers*

I'm hoping the topsheet will be an improvement on other Xiom products. I recall the Zeta to be the best thing around, but its topsheet lasted max one week before significant decrease in performance.

The topsheet of Vega is 100% natural rubber (like Hexer). Xiom claims that Vega's durability is up to double that of previous tensors.

Add another one to the Hexer Barracuda Genius list. If so, soft (almost mushy), spinny, high arc, but a bit too slow if you are used to Tenergy or most other Tensors.

I've been playing with Chinese rubbers for a while now (Neo H3) because I've been too broke and defiant to spend $50+ on Tenergy, etc. So, I don't know how those other rubbers play. But I have heard a few preliminary reviews in other places on the Vega. They've been mixed, but all of them have said that the rubber is actually quite hard, even comparing it to Chinese rubber.

Some said they could generate more spin than with Tenergy, some said Tenergy was spinnier. I'm assuming some of it has to do with technique variance. All reviews were referencing the Vega Pro, leaving Asian and Euro Vega unknown.

That means it is something different from Barracuda (and probably Hexer too); I found Barracuda to be quite unpleasantly soft after playing with Tenergy 64. So this sounds interesting.
