Using Nittaku Renanos Soft 2.2 Red on a Donic Cayman.
Very light rubber, fairly soft (but harder than tuned TSP Actor) very grippy non-tacky topsheet.
The rubber seems to behave very differently on different types of strokes.
For serving, pushes, blocks, flat hits it doesn't feel very fast - very low throw, very linear response, good control.
On loops it feels quite fast and, I guess because of the grippy rubber, higher throw. Still, pretty easy to loop with and easy to produce a lot of spin with.
The rubber was less sensitive to spin than I expected.
Still, seemed to suit my game and I beat a player I have previously lost to. Not bad with no prior use of the rubber.
I'll update after the next comp match.
Regards,
Jonathan
