Here is my review of Yasaka Rakza 7

I posted my new penhold paddle outfitted with the highly anticipated Rakza 7(for me anyways) a few months ago, but never got around to do a full review of the rubber.

First impressions:
-Surface: Slightly Glossy, a less than Mark V
-Sponge: Small Pores, much more visible than Mark V

Playing Characteristics:
-Very Spinny
-Much faster than Mark V(on active shots)
-Higher arc than Mark V(took a while to adjust to)
-Makes a nice click when doing the proper loop stroke, helps you fine-tune technique
-Not very bouncy with passive shots

After a few months of playing, my friends are having trouble with, well, all of my shots from push, loop, serves etc, all of my shots speed and or spin have improved over my mark v paddle :)
I have been playing almost every day at my school club for half a hour to a hour and the performance still has not decreased, so I am especially pleased with this rubber, and may become a lifelong yasaka fan.

I got that rubber in 2.1 a few days ago and tried out for the first time Monday might. It is pretty hard. But of you dig into the sponge it does have a lot of spin. My serves have have suffered a little. But like I said I have only used it a total of about one hour. Going to play again tonight so I will are what else it can do for me.

I should of gotten Xiom Vega/ Omega 4 for may backhand, because I personally witnessed my 85 year old grandma destroy me with Omega 3

I doubt that is due to the rubber.

Nice review and I like the comparison to Mark V.
I think it will be suitable for chopping in 1.8mm..
