So, I've been using Chinese rubbers ever since I got my first "real" racket. But I think I need to at least try some Euro/Japanese stuff. My main reason for Chinese was the price. So are there any GOOD soft rubbers out for 15-20 USD? |

Actually, from what I've just read on the internet, maybe I'll try the Dawei Inspirit. But I can't find anyone selling it!!!!!!! |

Giant Dragon Allround sounds similar to what you describe. I haven't tried it yet, but it has piqued my interest. |

Try some of the gambler rubbers... they are very good value. and some are quite fast and lively... they do not feel like most other Chinese rubbers at all. |

Dawei Saviga, look at Ebay. Seriously underrated rubber in my eyes. |

I believe the Saviga was discontinued by Dawei years ago... not sure if they're started making it again....you never know with Dawei. |

Thanks ILP. I'll look there. And I don't know about gambler...don't they have serious durability issues? With a low budget, that wouldn't be so good. I think I'll try the Inspirit. (And cstt, I've heard the saviga is good....might look into that too) |

Outlaw is still not very durable but it'll last half a year if you don't bump the table or anything rough with it. |

PME goes over the $15-20 budget; variants of the CJ8000 topsheet would be worth a look though |
