I had to cut a sheet of this rubber today, and since it looked quite interesting and I had not seen it before, I thought I'd share a few pictures.

The topsheet is soft and elastic, very grippy and very thin, so I'd expect it to be very spinny. Armstrong makes the thinnest topsheets I've ever seen. A very high finish with sharp edges on the graphics, so you can see it's good quality. it's made in japan in Armstrong's own factory.

Here are some pictures:

The sponge seems similar to other Armstrong sponge and quite unique. It feels a little porous with an unusual structure, as if there are little shiny bits in there. This picture is a closeup of about 2cm edge:

I have not had the opportunity to try this rubber yet, so I can't tell you how it plays... but perhaps someone else here has tried it and can share?

I haven't tried this rubber but I did try Armstrong Warrior 2 years ago. Topsheet looks identical but the Warrior had a mint green sponge. It was advertised as an attacking rubber that was good for smashing but it played more like a defensive/allround rubber it was very slow and quite spinny.

I would worry about how long it lasts with such a thin topsheet. But this looks very high quality.

I forgot to mention the rubber pictured has a 1.2mm sponge, so you can see how thin the topsheet is.
