Thank you

Although they're not Tensors, we might as well list all the 'glue effect' rubbers.

We've got a nice handy list now!

Rakzas aren't tensors?

edited to add: I see this has been discussed over at mytt: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_po ... 32030&PN=3

I actually thought it was made in Japan, but it sounds like it's made in Germany. Since I believe ESN is the only rubber factory in Germany, I would think it's indeed a Tensor, as that's the only 'glue effect' technology they do.

Thank for the tip!

I double checked the LARC and made sure the topsheet shows "Made in Germany". I've played with Rakza 7 soft and it certainly seems like a tensor to me! :)

Yes I thought so too, based on the Rakza 7... a very nice rubber indeed!

Rakza is a ESN tensor 100%. Previous to the current generation but still fairly modern.

Does changing generations cause problems for players who have to adapt? Do they keep making the earlier generation ones when the new generation comes out?

These are Chinese degrees, right? Most of these seem quite hard. I wonder if the Tenergies are as hard.

They tend to discontinue the old generation Tensors, although if some are popular, they'll keep making them
.

The hardness values are on the German scale, so they're a lot softer than Chinese ones with the same values. I think the Japanese scale is the same as the German scale. Tenergy would probable be around 45deg.

It's confusing because Palio sells their Tensors quoting these numbers (42.5 and 47.5 usually) - and all the other Palio products are Chinese with the Chinese degree scale. Time to go look at your hardness table again!
