I recently bought a used but practically new rubber (only used for 1 hour) in hardness 39. I used it without booster and I felt it was too hard and not very reactive. With one layer of booster I didn't find big differences but with two the rubber fit, being much faster. I recently bought a new one in 38. I have tested it and without booster it suffers from the same defects as in 39. I am going to add one or two layer of Haifu. The Battle II provincial blue sponge is a tacky rubber, fast (once boosted) and with a lot of spin. People say it is the same as the Hurricane Neo 3 provincial blue sponge but at a much lower price. Here is a unboxing video with my first impressions. Later I will add information.
