I am not too sure. I play with V 01. V 01 is a very competent top spin forehand rubber but as far as how much different is it too V 15 I am guessing top sheet would be different. It states that it is designed for plastic ball use so maybe the top sheet is designed for P ball. Probably more grip. V 01 is a pretty fast rubber with good amounts of spin and control. I use a seven ply hinoki which I would describe as a all round offensive blade. It probably has a slightly softer or harder topsheet maybe the pimples on the topsheet are a little wider, smaller thicker. The change could not be too dramatic no new technology advertised just designed for better use with plastic. But the V 01 for me performs competently with plastic but most rubbers are not going to perform as good as with celluloid balls.

Good review andy.

Have to also agree with you on soft rubbers or soft sponges sometimes do what they want to do and lose you the point. That is the case with soft euro tensors. Andro and their soft rubbers

The V 15 sounds very similar to V 01. I find with V 01 you can certainly control how much you want to put into the ball with spin and speed. Personally I enjoy having full control with the rubber some other rubbers I have played in the past if I am not commited to the shot it goes wide or out, due to really springy sponges. Andro at it again. The soft spring sponges with soft topsheets. Madness I tell you :P

What is interesting though is that Victas has released the V 15 extra and V 15 Limber but not a V 15 (plain). Expecting sometime new year for release maybe?
