Blade: Yasaka Sweden Classic ST
FH: Hurricane 3 41 black 2.2
BH: Hurricane 3 38 red 2.2
Update: compared to Hurricane 3

I believe the Pf4 has inferior:
top sheet elasticity,
bond to the sponge,
and the sponge seems less responsive to boosting.

I have pictures and details here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=17396&p=397527#p397527

I will keep updating my blog as I get more info.

I use new PF4 on my penhold setup, and have 2 x PF4 on an OFF- blade for drill training with people who want someone to block / control, and don't want to have to put up with my pimples. I think it's an excellent, cheap, spinny rubber. Not tried boosting it, but then I've also not tried playing with treated pips, or taking performance enhancing drugs... ;)

A funny thing: haven't been visiting the forum for a few years now, I incidentally come here today to see my necro-topic being revived :D (And also to see that I failed to share my impressions back then...)

Totally agree with every word, plus the sponge on my piece was completely dead, slow to the level of getting unplayable even for over-the-table offence. Actually, it was closer to a weirdly thick def rubber.
Still, it was 5 years back, DHS could have changed the sponge again by now :D
