I hear the new Butterfly Dignigs 05 is going to retail more expensive than the Tenergy 05. Latest I hear is that it's due around May 2019. Ratings indicate that it's faster and spinnier than Tenergy 05, with a sponge hardness of 40, which is in between the Tenergy 05 and the Tenergy 05 Hard. Tenergy 05 ratings: Speed: 13 Spin: 11.5 Sponge hardness: 36 Tenergy 05 Hard ratings: Speed: 13.0 Spin: 11.5 Density: 43

Aha.. finally. I suppose the "05" is because it's got the same pips structure of Tenergy 05..? The graphics says EUR79.90. Also it says "Available April 1st 2019" - April 1st?????? Iskandar |

The final arbiter will be the marketplace. If Dignics takes over the position of Tenergy a couple years from now (i.e. practically all the pros use it) then it'll be because these players think it's better than Tenergy. If Tenergy remains in its position then we know it's still better for these people. The higher price might hurt, simply due to the laws of supply and demand, or it might help among those for which the price is no object (in terms of perception). Incidentally, does anyone know how well Rasanter is doing? Andro pulled a similar move - introducing Rasanter and pulling Rasant from the market. Butterfly isn't pulling Tenergy, but it seems like they're introducing a Tenergy replacement. Iskandar |

Ah yes, that magical hand a fee stubbornly believe in. Ah well. Anecdotally, Rasanter has had a tremendous uptake but less of a followthrough, in that it was replaced by a new Rasanter by a small percentile. I guess those that are open to new experiences are likely to remain so. Aa to those less eager to make changes, well, many still hang on to Sriver, Tackiness, Mark V. Nothing bad about that. But the new kid in town needs to realize he isn’t anymore after the next arrives. |

Consider that Tenergy is something like 10 years old.. It's hardly the new kid on the block. Just the biggest and strongest one.. Amazing that it is still so dominant for such a long time, despite the ridiculously high price and the constant introduction of new sheets every year... Iskandar |

Of the men's WR Top 20, EIGHT (8) players currently employing rubbers other than of Buttrfly origin. Thus can you know the best relevant substitution for the Butterfly product. As the example uppermost, Vladimir Samsonov can still do only too well without Butterfly. And so can Liang Jingkun, the hopeful Sunny Boy of china. Yes, I got luckily to know of the actual playing materials those guys currently using, thus I need no Butterfly. I rather need Tibhar and . Andro . Yasaka. Butterfly is only an artificial Colossus, some noiseful trumpeter. Yes. |
