Seems to be $45 at ttnpp.com.

http://ttnpp.com/store/64-butterfly

And Dignics seems to be $74. Don't know how they get away with it, either...

Wonder what prices are like in Japan.

Here is my review of the Dignics 09C. I've had the test sheet for a while, but could test it in play only recently since the clubs were closed.

Apart from the price :o , I think players that are used to fast tacky rubbers will like this.

Thank you Haggisv for your great review of Dignics 09C. Your reviews I always trust.
I play Chinese tacky rubbers for a long time. Tacky rubbers have unsurpassed control when
playing with plastic balls but require more physicality in generating spin and speed.
Dignics 09C has a tacky top and a new generation spring sponge which assists in generating
spin and speed easier then a conventional tacky rubber.
Your review very much confirms Dima Ovcharov impressions of playing with this novelty.
It means that there was no decorated market agenda of a Butterfly sponsored player.
I watched a YouTube video of him beating Fan Zen Dong at German Open 2020 and
was amazed of his spin on serves and control of the ball where he was better then
Fan Zen Dong.
Although I did not test this novelty yet I still think Dignics 09C will suit different type of players.

My prediction: there will soon be a rash of premium-line tacky rubbers from ESN and others, beginning with "Evolution MX-C". Then there'll be Bluefire TX, Rasanter S50 (for "Sticky" ). I suppose Volt-T will be worth a serious look, at least...

Actually it's the other way around... ESN has been bringing out tacky rubbers before Dignics 09C, like Donic Bluegrip, Rakza Z, Joola Golden Tango etc, and Butterfly seems to want a rubber in this catagory as well.

It's a smart move, as this is such a strong type of rubber...I just wish it wasn't such a "strong" price!

I suppose one could go as far back as Palio Thorz (or whatever it was called.. ), but that's not a "premium brand". There's also the Tibhar Hybrid line, but that, again, isn't premium, and isn't priced as a premium rubber. When they bring out a tacky Evolution, that would be (at least, as far as the marketing goes).

Haven't come across Rakza Z yet.. maybe I should look for a sheet. I did like Rakza 7.

I came across a Dignics 09c review by a retail shop in Singapore and its pretty informative! Check it out, one of the players in the video played in T2 Singapore against Harimoto.

If I ever saw a table tennis shop like that shown in the review video I will know I have died and gone to heaven.

I visited China in college and there was a DHS shop in the city right next to other retailers. Had a reasonable amount of people in it too. It blew my mind!
