Very impressive comparison dgrd!

I love the split screen comparison, even if it went a little out of sinc, it looked impressive and really illustrated the difference.

So it's a hybrid? A bit less tacky Hurricane 3 Neo that doesn't need tuning?

Anyone tried chopping and playing far from the table with it?

The promise of better control on serve return and easy counterlooping through spin is triggering the equipment junkie in me. But like the Tenergy 05 hard I'm worried it will be too hard (serve return was good though).

Yeah, it's pretty much supposed to be like a H3 you don't need to boost. From what I gather from that last video I posted, it's actually quite a bit springier than even highly boosted H3. It is interesting that Boll and Ovtcharov have switched to it. And I suspect all those people who have been buying "national" H3 (which is in itself quite expensive) will at least try it.

I imagine a significant proportion of their income depends on Butterfly continuing to make money!

Bro imagine , i finally got to know that the t05 is so worth it and finally gonna stick to it on my bh, only to see the price increase to 270-300 rm in our market currently, wishing with introduction of dignics it would lower the tenergy series pricing only to drive it higher.

I highly doubt ppl are gonna buy it here as they were with tenergy, since at least tenergy secondhand market is still viable at 120-150 a pop, but who gon buy secondhand dignics let say at 220-250 range?

The increase in price is probably due to the exchange rate, I don't think Butterfly Japan have changed their prices. Prices in Australia have increaed too, due toa big drop in the AUD compared to the Japanese Yen.

I guess so, but the price is always lower in china tho , maybe they bulk purchase it and can drive their prices lower than smaller merchants locally.

Because Butterfly control prices for each region so closely, and does not allow cross-selling, they can set different price points for each region. I'm sure the prices in China will be set at a little lower price point, to maximise sales and profit.

It's true the Yen suddenly became 10-20% more expensive back in mid-February.

Can you REALLY buy (genuine) Butterfly products cheaper in China?? Interesting.

For sure. Don’t know about Tenergy but Rozena has historically been about 30USD in China & Hong Kong but has a list price >40€ in most European markets.
