I currently play tenergy 25 on backhand. I play close to the table and push, flat hit and block. I am looking for a good alternative can anyone give me some suggestions.

Yasaka Rakza X;
a bit less spin than T25 and not spin sensitive as T25, still ''spinny'' enough. Good at everything.
Falck also uses it on his BH.

Calibra LT. Amazing for flat hitting, much better than T25 or T64 for blocking, but I rarely push so am not sure about that one... An added bonus is that it’s half the price ($33USD @ TT11).

Have you considered short pips? If you aren't spinning on the backhand, they may be just the ticket for the style of play you describe. You could start with something basic like Friendship 802 on 1.7 mm sponge. Just a thought.

I've always thought that Hard'ish (Chinese-Style) rubbers are best-suited for Close to the table blocking and slapping..

They're certainly cheap enough to try. Something like 729 Super FX, which you can get in various sponge thicknesses, and usually under $10 a sheet.

Very interesting. Not thought about short pimples. So close to the table, flat aggressive hits, pushes and blocks these are my backhand characteristics and you think short pimples could be the way forward.

Also quite cheap to try. I don't think you'd have to spend more than USD10 for a sheet of 729's 802 or 802-40. Many options around that price range, too.

yes, they are. unfortunately the "classic" unboosted versions are painfully slow compared to modern rubbers.

A lot of the time "painfully slow" is what you need, actually. Especially close to the table. You can definitely get good speed out of them, you just have to slap a little harder.
