Blade: S&T Black & White
FH: Omega VII Euro 2mm
BH: Spinlord Orkan 1.5mm
I have been trying Omega VII Europe out in 2mm black as an alternative to Rasanter R42 as my local TT dealer stocks it.

On my all+ fairly light and soft feeing Black & White blade it played remarkably different to R42 mainly due to what feels like a stiffer higher tension top sheet. As a result VII Europe has shorter contact time which suits pushing, chopping and topspin but not for me close to table blocking and FH driving/smashing. Probably on my light all+ blade I do not have the power/technique to get the best out of VII Europe and R42 gives me both more control and speed.

AS a short term experiment before ordering a sheet of R42 I have taken the VII Europe off the blade so it could shrink a bit (about 1mm all round) and have reglued it. Hopefully the slight drop in top sheet tension will give me a bit more dwell and control.
