Hello my friends. I m playing with vega europe 2.0 on my forehand.I play an allround offensive game at forehand with spin variation . I like vega europe for its dwell time and how easy is to create spin with quite slow strokes. The broblem is when i drive fast its bottoming out and i cant take good speed. So ilike a new rubber only a steap faster tha vega europe with good dwell time and easy to play with not so fast strokes. I had rosena 2.1 red in past but i find it very bouncy with very little dwell time - also the topshit i found to have zero grip .
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are after a slightly harder sponge/topsheet? Tons of rubber fit that criteria, Probably something around 45-47 hardness would be my guess. I've tried Victas V15 extra, Rasanter 47, Fastarc G1, which are all pretty popular. I've used them all and honestly I can't tell a massive difference. They are all harder than vega euro. You may have to commit more to shots as slightly harder rubbers are less forgiving. The way a rubber fits your specific blade is also really important.

Maybe a Sauer troger Secret Flow with thickest sponge...
Hard sponge with thin, relatively soft and a bit tacky topsheet...And Secret Flow is not as fast as a G1, V15 extra or Rasanter 47...

If you are using the Euro Df version then I suggest you try Asia Df in 2.0mm. it is has a slightly firmer sponge and is a little faster.

I use Vega Europe 2.0mm myself and love it - but I only use it on my backhand for the exact same reasons... on my forehand smash or power drive, it bottoms out.

The way you describe your game sounds very much like my own. I would therefore recommend a 729 Focus 3 Snipe max width (2.3mm), as its probably exactly what you're looking for.

Originally, I bought the VE for my forehand and was using the F3S on my backhand, but I found that for me personally, BOTH rubbers performed far better if those uses were reversed.

The F3S is a seriously underrated rubber by a lot of people, probably because the early variants weren't as good as the more recent ones.

The F3S isn't a tensor sponge, but it isn't completely linear either... there is a definite catapult feel to the rubber at max width, its just slightly less pronounced than the VE.

I find with medium force drives, the VE is JUST slightly faster due to the tensor sponge, and is SLIGHTLY spinnier (thereby perfect for my backhand)- but the difference with both is frankly minimal - they feel surprisingly similar at medium force.

The biggest difference between the two frankly, is when playing at speed / high force strokes - and here the F3S wins hands down.

While the VE will bottom out quickly, I have NEVER ONCE bottomed out the F3S... it has some serious gears, and frankly I've never had to try top gear with this rubber on my forehand.

To forehand smash with the VE I HAVE to use full-force (ie: 10 out of 10 on my own internal power meter). With the F3S, that number is only 7 or 8 out of 10... I always feel like I have another gear or two spare with the F3S on my forehand.

Given the ridiculously low price of the F3S, I have yet to find anything that comes even close to it in terms of value for money. A sheet will cost you the equivalent of $22 Australian... about the price of a decent take home pizza. :D
