I understand butterfly are bringing out the new rubber in Europe in April. Does anyone know if it has already been used in Asia and other than black sponge what it’s playing characteristics. Also how does it compare to Tenergy and Dignics |

Think it’s called Glayzer not Glazner |

I like the fact that there is no single man knowing any concrete information about the Glayzer series. It is strange, because in today's society it is impossible to keep something unleaked once it has been announced and that something is particularly strongly awaited. Even some Japanese folks made a few review videos about the Glayzer rubbers, but still no one to make a proper translation and then share it with the world. Seems things can still be kept a secret if strong enough will. Looking forward to Glayzer09C though, seems a great Dignics09C alternative. Thanks. |

Hmm! Interesting they went with the "09C" designation, I suppose it signals the similarity between it and Dignics 09C. Not something Butterfly's ever done anything like this in the past, didn't, for instance, there hasn't been a "Rozena 05". 6.050 yen equates to what.. USD50 or so? A fair amount (30%) more than I paid recently for a sheet of Bluegrip C2. Iskandar |

I had some hits with glayzer 09c in Belgium butterfly store today. Only 2 minutes. For me it didn't feel like the dignics 09c. Much more dead feeling and less catapult. Don't know what the thickness was and it was also not on my usual blade Verstuurd vanaf mijn moto g22 met Tapatalk |

Yeah, I've bought a few big-name rubbers over the last few years, looking for that sheet that would automatically add 50 points to my rating. Or be so "advanced" it would be too fast or too reactive for me to use. Haven't found one yet.. Therefore I have NEVER bought the same "expensive" rubber twice. And yes, I did get a sheet of Tenergy 05 2-3 years ago (right when COVID hit and I didn't get to use it for a year.. Iskandar |

I finally made a video about the Glayzer series, please activate the English subtitles! In the video you can find: - a Glayzer09c and Glayzer05 test and review, - a comparison between Glayzer05 and Rozena, - a comparison between Dignics09c and Glayzer09c, - a comparison between boosted and unboosted Glayzer09c I hope you will enjoy the video! From now on I’m using officially the Glayzer09c on my forehand, my previous rubber was Tibhar MXP Evolution |

It seems the general view on You tube is that Glayzer 09C is a lot slower than expected, he is a strong guy and was having to put in a lot of effort to get speed out of it. Maybe best for players needing control and spin on very fast carbon blades. Glayzer 09 looks like a good Euro tensor type option in the 48° sponge sector. The review did indicate it felt faster than Rozena which is a good start. It will be interesting to learn how it compares not only with rubbers such as R48, G1 etc. but also with standard full fat Tenergy products such as 80 and 19. If it offer almost as much spin and speed but with better control especially in the short game then with the lower price and promised durability it could be a great rubber. |

Great all-around tension type rubber, both loops and chops well with great touch over the table! |

A fellow club player has Glayzer 09C max on an all+/off- Tibhar wood blade and it is heavy and slow compared to an old sheet of 80fx on the other side. He would have been better getting the standard Glayzer for his topspin attacking style back from the table! |
