Yes I agree, and it's passed the friction test as well...

I was wondering something about this famous dr evil.
To some distributor, it is available with sponge (hard, medium, doft or supersoft).
I find mine Tango Ultra really nice to block and attack but it is very more sensitive than the anti or the LP. Would it be a solution to use a Dr Evil on a sponge? So I would have a anti spin effect with the Dr Evil but also the speed to attack as a short pimple... Am I wrong?

Joola Tango Ultra is about as spinny as pips get. Switching to a less spinny pip like regular 802 or 799 would help a lot.

From what I've heard Dr. Evil on sponge lost most of it's tricky properties. It is cheap though. Other relatively spinless short pips include Andro Logo and Spintech Stealth, both have smooth tops.

Another option is something with very thin (but short) pips like Nittaku Pimplemini or TSP Millital.

Dr Evil OX, is a very good SLOW, REVERSING pip. Great for blocking, and serve return, but lousy at hitting. If you have a Direct line to the table, you can hit. You can hit chop (incomming chop) as it turns into top going out. Hit an incomming loop and it turns to chop going out and will curve UP.
Put .6 sponge under it and it will reverse "a little". You can hit a little better with it. You can chop further from the table. But it loses most of what makes it EVIL. :D

You are wrong about the hitting. It depends on your skill level. I play OX, can hit any passive balls to me.
