great to see the direction Gambler is going. What is missing now is a good tacky chinese-like rubber. Something like BW2 or H2 or H3. Doesn't even have to be pretuned

Ok shoot, Sorry it took me so long to get by here. I guess first I want to say as far as business goes, support your local dealers. They support the organizations that make table tennis possible, we pay about 10,000USD a year to the ITTF and USATT, many others contribute as well, and this forum is a prime example! Don’t forget school programs and event hosting. In short support the businesses that support your sport. We do this for a living, and while I am light hearted about it, I take customer service as a top priority. New stuff within a month: More durable Outlaw Some players have a stroke that will destroy this rubber in a short period of time; this is not uncommon in a high performance rubber. The durability seems to be increased by 20%ish this will not make it last longer it will just make it break less. Understand that to my knowledge no one has done a rubber with this process, so I am overall pleased and think we got it (almost) right on. Six Shooter Pre-Tune Outlaw’s little bad a$$ brother (can I say a$$?). Softer a bit slower but better ball penetration, with Outlaw your stroke has to be spot on to get good spin (as with all mechanical grip firm rubbers). 6sh Pre-Tune has easy ball penetration, this makes for more forgiveness on your stroke. Other problems with mechanical grip rubbers that I have had comments about. 1. The rubber does not work well in high humidity. Ok this is a good one. we are working on an UNDERWATER rubber that will work well in the pool. 2. The rubber will tear if you hit it on the corner of the table. Fantastic!! This will get better with the more durable formula but don’t expect to dig the corner of the table and come away without paying me another 14 bucks:P Blades: Next year we have a few ideas, nothing in the next 3 months. I am thinking for sure 3 new blades from Gambler by the US Open. Hey, remember to have fun! Tom |

hey tom, thanks for stoping by, I onced purchased from ZP and I was very happy with my order (LTK glasspower, OOAK didnt have it at the time) and how quick it turned up (USA to Uk shipping aswell) its great to know your still doing well during these troubbled economic times |

Hey Tom! Good to have you posting here! I'm already a big fan of Outlaw as well, and having a more durable version will be even better! Will there be any different marking on the rubber or package, so that people know which is the new version? I'm keen to try the new Six Shooter as well, I'm sure we'll have plenty of interest and reviews here, like we did with the Outlaw. Keep up the good work! |

The plan is to get the reflectiod in sponge only .6 up to 2.2mm I am not sure on the fate of the org 729 sponges yet, we may drop them. |

I'd like a thin carbon blade, slow speed about off-. Hard core with soft outer plies. Put the carbon deep into the blade so its for stability rather then speed. |

I became a fan of gambler products after using the Peacekeeper and I find that to be a great rubber on my backhand, I have to twiddle to use it of course. And now I want to get something a little faster and I am seriously contemplating the outlaw. But the durability issue has me wondering. My stroke won't kill the rubber fast, I am no monster looper. And I rarely hit the table, but at times there is a slight contact. Tom, I am really curious as to when the slightly more durable version will be out and when will it be available with dealers. I hope soon because I need to make my purchase in about 6 weeks at the latest. |

Ok first that the freight is in and I guess it will be Friday for the 6 shooter Pre Tune, we have to unpack a container and that takes a bit of time. This new stuff will include the latest batch of Outlaw(more durable) but I want to be very clear, a tuned rubber has a lifespan of 3 to 4 months best case, the Outlaw is already giving this lifespan to all but a few players at higher levels can break it sooner. You still will only get 3 to 4 months, if it does not break in that time then the rubber starts to lose grip (like every other rubber on the planet earth). We still have a small number of the previous batch, if you need the more durable one just ask in the customer notes on checkout we will take care of it. For sticky rubber in the Gambler line we have some already, Aces Pro is good, Wraith is also solid, someone said SP I can’t argue with that. Take care and see you at the Nationals in Vegas |

Tom, I believe 3-4 months is a very decent time for a tuned rubber to last. And if it costs as low as the outlaw, then its a very good deal indeed. |

The packing for Outlaw is the same, it is the same mold and same formula you should not notice much change at all if any.. I will will hold the line on all LKT and Gambler stuff through 2011 not over 14 bucks (I will disclaim that if we start using the USD for toilet paper I may change my tune) |
