I am still waiting for the response of my question on the blade character difference between the light weight and heavy weight TUVALU because I will take another tuvalu for my spare. I don't want to pick the wrong weight.

Basically I don't like the lightness of my Tachi blade, being too light it often hurting my elbow but I believe that the lighter is the better for blocking on the table and also the slower which I need for my playing style. And also my FH attack is very easy to be blocked by my opponent because it is too slow (and I already using the max thickness of Adidas P3).

Where is Mr. Nexy, please I need your advise asap before picking up the weight.

I've had a reply they are looking into shirt sizing question (bit late now as been sent) but no mention on whether blade has been sent with it that I also asked.

Tobhik, look in Nexy Diary thread for Nexy's repsonce to weight of blades. Even though the boss is in Europe right now, I might visit the NEXY HQ as I have a day off or two to go to Seoul and enjoy. I'll ask if everyone's blade is getting shipped or whatever.

As for sizes of jerseys Andrew, it kinda depends on who makes it. if it is Asian made and it says XL, it is likely a LG. if it says 110,usually a Korean measurement in CM for chest, then it is XL or almost XXL. 110 is about the largest size you see commonly.

I buy a LOT of Tibhar jerseys from Nexy. The XL size is pretty close to XL in USA size. I have a large chest and shoulders and the Tibhar XL size is still loose enough.

Thanks for the sizing info, fingers crossed. Also if you do go, be great if you could ask if blade went with shirt as they are ignoring that part of my question ;-)

Mr. Moon, whose English is excellent, might be the only one in the shop who speaks English. Since he is in Europe, maybe the staff doesn't quite understand the email(s).

I'll ask if the 5 testers' blades shipped and let their young gun staff member try to smoke me in a match today.

My daughter is visiting and I'm going to Seoul today. Nexy HQ is kinda outta the way of central Seoul, but it has been a month since my last visit. Maybe they have a Tuvalu laying around somewhere and I have a hit with it before the OOAK crew gets their paws on them, greedy me....

Thanks Der_echte, FYI I haven't put up my order yet. I am awaiting Nexy's response. I have another question which is not yet responded. After getting the response then I will choose my blade weight.

cheers

Nexy Staff said all who asked for the blades had them already shipped.

Tobhik, Nexy Staff was asking me questions about USA shirt size. Here is how the sizes work.

The Korean system is measured the chest size in centimeters. My size in Korean is 110. That is the same as XL in USA size and Stiga/Tibhar international size. That equates to a 44 inch chest. EDIT: Chest. Wow, a 44 inch waist would put me at 120 KG, I am nowhere near that.

Many places from China and Japan have unusually small sizes, usually you have to order 1-2 sizes larger.

The staff was measuring a Nexy jersey for all kinds of dimensionslike sleeve length and shirt width. With the Korean system, what is important is the chest circumfirence measurement. You measure the chest in centimeters and you will not be wrong. Basically 110 is XL to XXL 100 is LG 90 is Medium Small to Small.

Had an email from Oscar saying that my email 3 days ago showing 'order sent' didn't mean it had actually been sent, just that it had been allocated a tracking number, awaiting replying to my query. Think the problem is a language one which he is trying to resolve but is difficult while he is in Europe.

I have decided to pick up the heaviest ST handle of Tuvalu and I have placed my order on the website plus I ordered an extra spare of the same weight 97 gr ST handle of Tuvalu blade.

But I have difficulties to use all payment method either using credit card or paypal.

I have sent email through nexy's website and awaiting for their response if there was any solution for paying method.

cheers.
Tobhik

I had a note in my USPS mail box, last night that a package had arived from Korea. So hopefully my package with blade and rubber are at the post office, if so, today my journey of discovery will begin.

As to payment problems, I finally just I just sent the money directly to Nexy via PayPal and didn't use the web site. I had no difficulties for that part of the transaction.

Yea customs are lame... Here in brasil we need to pay 60% of the value, and in my state we need to pay 30% more.... almost 2x the price, and the shipping cost is included in the 60%...
