It was impossible to follow, but I noticed that TB's first couple points were a net and an edge. I suspect once he realized that the robot was going to not even try for all those, he would really TRY to be clipping the net as often as possible, especially in the short game.

LOL, they need better code to ANTICIPATE the likelihood of a net or edge and when high probability, to have the robot position itself closer in towards the net or between anticipated bounce trajectory and uninterrupted flight path (even below the table surface), and then dynamically try to recalculate trajectory after the impact in order to try to "salvage" those balls when possible, just like the better players do :)
