No English, though. I seem to recall there was an English button in the distant past. Ah well, if I'm interested enough there's always Google Translate...

STIGA DNA
This is how the newly established RULE for approval of new brand rubbers came off for now. This is a new rule provision to appear in the document T4 as of June 2020.
The rule has as follows
Quote:
RECOGNIZABILITY of SANDWICH RUBBERS.
■ The sponge of one type may only differ in colour and thickness.
■ If manufacturer wishes to market the same topsheet with sponge or sponges of another type, having different density, hardness, material, etc., the approval fees will be charged separately for each new sponge, and the topsheet must be moulded with a new model name ...
It took me some two years to get EQC Chair to take this medicine down to stomach. Bitter one and yet effectual.
ps// all the sandwich rubbers on market using a variety of sponges with the same topsheet should be re-attested under the new provision. Most of the rubbers in question are china-made products, you know. The best praised advantage of the T4 revision is to enable players to tell the sandwich principal characteristics (speed, hardness, friction) just visually, without even touching on the opponent's rubber.
Vlady Samsonov did favour the new T4 very much. So glad for all our pros, lower-ranked players and newcomers to the sport.
Those many unrecognizable sandwich rubbers did bring in a huge mess to the sport, and we're pleased to set all things going right, now.

/Be happy/

It seems you're proud and happy about this change... But who will benefit from it?

Butterfly, of course. It definitely won't benefit newcomers, or buyers of $5 Chinese rubber.

I suppose we'll have to wait until June 2020 to see if this rule actually takes place.. as I've said, Igor loves to make things up. The Chinese will most likely protest - even H3 National will be "outlawed" by this. Heck, the new "hard sponge" version of MX-P would become illegal.

I’m sorry if someone has already asked this, but:

Where can one find trustable “National” or reliable versions of Skyline TG2/TG2 Neo? Are they available to the public like those versions of Hurricane 3 are?

DHS said that they are in the process of creating a website page which lists all the authorised DHS distributors, so if you buy from one of those, you should be confident the sheets are genuine.

I would like to ask Mr. Felix Luo how to clean and maintain tacky DHS rubbers to keep tackiness for a long time? There are of course several different recommended methods: to use water only or some chemical cleaners, to use adhesive protective films or non-adhesive protective films and so on. I personally can imagine, that it is possibly easier to clean and maintain non-tacky rubbers, but what is the best method for tacky rubbers which does not harm tackiness? Could you please recommend us best method?

Thank you very much (and also to DHS for Hurricane 3 Neo, TinArc and Skyline 3-60 because I use them for a long time...)

I've posted about this table several times already (where it was actually relevant). If you can dig up a conversion to the ESN or Butterfly scales then we'd be a great deal more impressed.

Do we still have an open line for questions to a DHS rep?

Yes I believe he's still around.

Man,
If you were a technician a whit, you could do it by yourself in no time at all.
WHO@RE YOU ?? Siting impatient for a response
Если бы вы хоть немного были техником, вы могли бы сделать это сами в мгновение ока.
