OOAK Table Tennis Forum

So just played Radi at her place. I used my 3 bats across the session. Mixed around back and forth... summary:

Started with short pips and the games were close but about 7:2 in games with that bat. I enjoyed it but had to try my fast bat.

I only lost one game with my primorac double inverted. I won countless 3rd ball attacks, I was on fire. The one game I lost with it was the game I tried to use Rakza Z EH on fh.... yeah too bouncy for me there at the table as usual. Loved away. At first I thought everything was landing too long but I eventually came good and most my shots were just way fast.

At first I used my ishlion thinking how it was the perfect speed but not to fast the attacks were not landing long...

and then retried the primorac and just went into slaughter mode. Mostly 3rd ball attack but a lot of other things well in control and with power from everywhere. I believe I could beat her because I attacked first as often as possible. I felt my style from when I was at my peak showing through.

All up only lost 2 or 3 games in the whole 3 hours. The closest games were with the short pips.... Even if Lost about 5:4 in games to Simon who is my other old time gauge that I keep blogging about here, clearly being ahead here today I felt I was doing something right.

I constantly varied serve, I tried to 3rd ball attack set up everything to kill with fh,... some still were finished with bh.... and kept trialling ideas.

I hope next year I can get myself into fixtures. I need a greater pool of players too.
