You could measure them and would be very un-impressed as overall size - mine are tiny too.

Still it is about the proportions, and mine are surely swole up something fierce.

hehe still playing with your b2 i assume.

whats your opinion on hurricane long 3? vs clipper and popular 7 plies, is it way different quality from pg 7 or tg 7 or 506 even?

Lately I've been taken with photography bug, so less on trying blades despite the long queues.

HL2/3 > 506 > PG7

I've actually slowing down my game nowadays and trying to dabble in all wood world again
the violin i've gotten was maybe a bit too high throwish than I've expected and after going two weeks with it I kinda feel i better not adjust to the angles
you have to adapt in mastering this blade, so i've remembered that clipper cr wrb last time would have been a safer route as the throw angle is more of what
i've been with all my life ( i find the alc blades of butterfly have similiar properties throw wise)
so probably the limba -ayous is what i'm more comfortable with.
So the hl3 came but it was the one with the 506 printed on the sides version vs the one with hl3 on the handles. I don't know how much it varies between those two.
while ive tried pg7 before and felt it was nothing like clipper cr, felt woodier, bouncy, more vibration.
hl3 i think is more on to pg7 rather than clipper. ( there's other variants i would wanna try tg7, 506, 506+)

but i felt with this all wood route im heading into right direction, as i felt that i dont really need to stop my swing midway ( vs the viscaria where i pull my swing short a lot of times in favour of winning)

im using tg3 fh and bh vega asia df, the bh maybe a bit weird tho. like it felt to bouncy with the tensor ( if i recall correctly the same vega pro on clipper doesn't act this way)
maybe its the asia version or the df is too bouncy i can never know for sure ( unless i decide to revisit clipper and just transfer the rubber)
too bouncy for what would have been easy to do flicks on my opponents serves in that way, but passive blocks are better than average.

maybe i will end up using a softer hurricane/skyline for the bh.

p.s your photos are awesome on instagram mang

I'm not sure the problem with Violin. It's among the best of all wood blades and with better vibration too.

DHS blades varies from good to bad vibration feel. And the QC is still varies a lot, especially on the lower models such as PG7. Trying at the store to find one you like is highly recommended. Actually, this goes for all brands and tipes. Trying out at the store to find one you like is preferable.

As far as Clipper and other stiga WRBs, I don't like them as much. The small difference with the non wrb is enough for me to avoid using the wrbs. Just my preference. Many likes the wrbs just fine.

Thanks for liking my instagram photos....

Dug up this blade for the upcoming Singapore trip. Played with it today after a long while. Felt like meeting up with old buddy. Felt like just yesterday since the last time we parted.
