Whats some things Social players can do that pros can't?
Im not sure is this should be in General or somewhere else
but things like;

Drinking coffee as a stimulant (there is no drug testing except for international stuff me thinks )
Drinking Beer lol
having the same colour rubber both sides
serve low toss, (mind you the pro's do get away with many illigal serves) lol
white T shirt with white balls

what else

As an amateur, but a player that takes the game seriously, I can't quite see myself fitting in either one of those groups.

Is caffeine a drug that they test for at international level? :o

Sorry Tat, I have to disagree with you. I think its a general TT topic. But unless Rodderz intends to introduce a video in here, it sure don't belong in the General section of Table Tennis Videos. :o

So I will move it to TT/General. ;)

Play really badly!

Use equipment from anywhere (not just the sponsor)

Have a go at the ITTF.

Lose (and not care).

Play TT at one favourite venue all the time!

Play TT without anyone watching.

Swear and scream in frustration without worrying about a RED card. :headbang:

Most players on any level do it mainly because it's fun, methinks.
Of course there are the sinister looking players who will hardly shake hands after the match, no matter if they won or lost. They remind me of the attitude of the wrestlers you see on TV shows.

I believe so , what would happen if you ha a strong coffee and run a 100mtrs and was tested, cafine is a major stimulant and you could ask you next high level player this question, Im fairly sure its a big nono lol

No Caffeine listed

In fact, if you look under specified stimulants it says:

* The following substances included in the 2012 Monitoring Program (bupropion, caffeine, nicotine, phenylephrine, phenylpropanolamine, pipradol, synephrine) are not considered as Prohibited Substances.
