This is just too sad.

Europe / West Civilization pillaged the rest of the world at gunpoint, converting and calling others barbarians .... Yet in this day and age, not enlightenment but debasement of other human beings continues. Europe never really recovered from the dark ages I think.

There are still a lot of good people living in the world, but the ones with the power and ability to affect change do so for selfish or poorly-thought out reasons.

Suffering, especially man-made causes, is still the plight of the human race by our own hands. Climate change and so many more problems to deal with.

Yeah, it's really sad. ;( The saddest part is: it's all over Europe. In East Europe they just don't hide the racism and xenophobia. In West Europe a lot of top politicians on the right say things you could consider racist and are a lot of times inaccurate. Here in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium Vlaams Belang took more than 18% of the votes. This party is considered racist. They are the second largest party. The largest is N-VA, also right. They are a tad better, but are also very hard for immigrants.

A lot of people are idiots! They have an opinion, based on prejudice, not on facts, but they consider it fact. Ignorance, stupidity and cowardice are the greatest sins/flaws in humanity.
