OOAK Table Tennis Forum

I'm currently a high school student in the International Baccalaureate program. I am completing an individual research report for a design technology class. I am designing a product that will attach to a table tennis table which will organize the balls and paddles. I have seen products that connect to walls and some that are already part of the table but no stand alone product that can attach and detach to that table to help with organization. I would love input from this community through a survey I have designed. I know surveys can be tedious but it is only a few questions.

Thank you for your help and I would love more opinions on the idea.

I dunno.. When you see ball and paddle holders attached to a table this is the mark of a low-quality (i.e. rec-room grade) table. None of the better tables have these attachments because at clubs and tournaments people bring their own bats and balls. You'd only find ball and paddle storage racks in a rec room where there are a bunch of low-quality bats left lying around. Good luck with your project, though.

I agree with Iskandar. I think your idea is coming from a good place, but you're mistaking basement "Ping Pong" that is played recreationally with the sport of table tennis, which is what we are involved in discussing here.

Table tennis players spend upwards of hundreds of dollars on their blades/rubbers and would not leave them with the table.

Your idea may have some appeal for casual Americans who just want a ping pong table for the basement, but polling actual table tennis players won't give you much positive feedback I fear.
