Post subject:  NEW BOOK!PING-A Personal Perspective on Table Tennis

A new book has just been published titled Ping- A Personal Perspective on Table Tennis by Graham Frankel.
I have yet to read the book but have ordered it recently and look frward to it. With chapter titles such as Nagoya Japan 1971, Dealing with Chops,Bouncing Back and Turkeys,And a Headless Chicken it promises to be a very thought provoking read from a man who has been involved in table tennis for a very long time.
Anyone who has been involved in table tennis in England is likely to be aware of Graham and he speaks very eloquently on all aspects of table tennis.
I for one am really looking forward to reading this and will certainly post my thoughts in the next few weeks when I have read it.

Gradge, Thanks for posting about this new book release of a publication. I love books on table tennis & this one looks very interesting. :^)
I will purchase it as soon as I can  but with it being released in England & with me living in Australia it might take a while for me to get it with the world is experiencing the Covid 19 plague :swear: , but get it I will! :?:

Just finished the book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really like the way the author intertwined his own life with major events in World Table Tennis. Some very thought provoking discussions around rubber and also the balls. I feel the author really doesn't like the "funny" rubbers which I must say I agreee with. My only critiscism is that it was too short! i would rather have read this for another few nights. Book 2 soon please Mr Frankel?
