I've never heard of Adam Green - anyone know more about this?

I have met Adam Green. He was originally from Newcastle NSW. Last I heard of him, and that was a number of years ago, was that he was playing professionally in Europe somewhere. I have just watched the item on 7 national news and was surprised that he is now 40.

I also remember hearing or reading somewhere that in the dimmest darkest depths of covid a few months ago that table tennis in the Ukraine was one of the few professional sports still being played, and that there were many people interested in betting on it.

Is there really all that much betting on table tennis matches any more? There used to be - if you read Reisman's book, there is a hair raising account of bookies taking bets at the barriers at the US Closed. And some of his trips to the Far East involved gangsters and possible gambling. And of course, relieving suckers of money through playing table tennis was the way he made a large portion of his income.
