I was looking at Western Australia list of clubs https://www.ttwa.org.au/club-search It says "social session" for most clubs. Seems like a cool idea to be emulated by other countries What does this mean ? What kind of things take place at these sessions ? Is it limited only for members or open to others ? Who (& if) provides the booze ? etc Which club has the best sessions due to many reasons such as best party animals etc |

First of all, gudday mate! Social sessions at my club in WA are just a free for all, where you play whoever rocks up. Some people play the same person the entire session, some will have a little mini competition where the winner stays on and faces a challenger. |

In other words.. most nights at most clubs (and this happens around the world, believe it or not ). On other nights, there'd be structured events - leagues, club tournaments, etc. Once in a while they'll organize an actual open tournament, print fliers, send out notifications to other clubs, etc. I doubt booze and partying have anything to do with it.. From my experience with American clubs, the evening usually starts around 7 or 8pm, and people stay until 1 or 2 am, way after all the bars have closed, so people usually just head straight home to shower and go to sleep afterwards...
