Mladenovich got crushed badly. So good news for all those suffering from the Anti's :P

Anton Kallberg is rated 19th in the world, Luka Mladenovich isnt even in the top 200. There is a huge discrepancy between their world rankings and rating central points. But you know this cause you just love to troll anti and pimple players. As a senior umpire I expect less bias from you.

Here is a link of Luka Mladenovich, ranked 250th in the world, beating Simon Gauzy who is ranked 31st in the world.

Have a watch Igor and let me know what you think.

Gauzy, Liang Yanning, Yukiya Uda, Ionescu, Omar Assar - the list of top players who just couldn't figure it out is growing.
That was truly impressive from Kallberg though!
Last, this video should have simply been posted under Luka's page here.

He also recently defeated Maksim Grebnev of Russia, who is I believe also in the top 100 in the world. If there's a weakness in his game, honestly, I think it's more his forehand than the anti. I think he's still using the Dr Neubauer ABS 2 Pro, which gives him pretty good control. But his forehand attack is soft and inconsistent.

Anton Källberg has faced frictionless anti many times before. Last year (at Swedish national championships) he beat my friend Marcus Johansson in a match that was far more close than against Luka. Anton has beaten Marcus a few times before (often rather close matches) so he knows how to handle the anti and he reads spin very well.

The way he played against Luka requires excepionell spin reading abilities and footwork. And being able to adapt to odd curves, speed and spin on both BH and FH. That is far from easy!

Yesterday me and Marcus talked about this. Right after he saw the match Marcus texted Anton and asked about the amount of back spin from Lukas bat. Anton responded that it was very light, nothing compared to what Marcus can get with his bat.

But the amount of back spin is just one of many parameters, there are other ones that makes that a good setup for Luka, not just against Anton :)

What setup does he play with?
There is not lot of video footage from marcus online. I found a few matches. Would be cool t pick his brain. He's a high level player

He changes a LOT. But for now he is back to slow setup after toying with super fast, so TSP Balsa fitter def 2.5 with SuperGlanti Attack. Works great!

It's a shame his club is going to get relegated after one season in Bundesliga's top division. They are a lot of fun to watch highlights of, with him and Muramatsu's incredible chopping skills.

Their club lost a lot of matches 3-2. Muramatsu would win both his matches, but Luka, Putuntica and Rossi would lose theirs and lose doubles. It seems like those other guys are starting to come around a bit, but it seems like it's too late in the season to have a chance at avoiding ending up in the bottom two.

Is he a senior umpire or a bot pretending to be one? Wonder what "confutation" means...
