I plan to create videos examining various rubbers' spin and speed effects. Here are the initial videos in this series. Once we get the basics right, we can go to different clubs and try different combinations. Starting with Dignics 09c and Nittaku Fastarc G1 on a Petr Korbel ply

Let me know if you want me to look into something particular or what data to collect, which might be a helpful reference for others in the future.

Introduction

Dignics 09c vs Nittaku Fastarc G1 speed

That's a really nice video to show the trajectories, that must have taken a long time?

I think it would be useful to put the bat at a much higher angle as well, which would more closely relate to an actual ball being looped. The result may still be similar, but then at least you'll know.

Thanks for the suggestion. The time taken was mostly for figuring out how to use the software to get the data, At this point we are trying to get the data , once we are sure then it will be easier to replicate on different combinations

Speed and trajectory is easy but spin is challenging and we are doing the next video to check the incoming spin (rpm) and the outgoing rpm once it touches the rubber. We don't have access to very high frame speed camera

Think the video gives a good understanding for speed and trajectory. Looking forward to the spin part
