Hey Guys,

I am thinking of getting a robot. I did some research and read the posts on this forum.

The main choices are Newgy Robo-Pong 2055 vs Butterfly Amicus vs PowerPong. I am not interested tennirobo or ipong because I want recycle feature for sure.

For bang for buck newgy 2055 seemed good.

What do you guys say?
Also is there a deal breaker in Newgy Robo-Pong 2055 which I should consider?

Thanks!

Let me guess. You're in the US? Newgy's American, so I think you can order directly..

Thanks Isk.
Though among the 3 - which one do you think is best? (bang for the buck)
Also any particular dealbreaker issue in Newgy 2055 that I should know?

I have a Newgy 2055 and it has been a nightmare! After a few minutes of use, my Newgy leaves white shavings on the table in front of the robot. Also, my robot will jam or hesitate for a second or two. It throws off my timing when I try to do multi-ball training. I have been on the phone and e-mails with Newgy (I believe Newgy customer service consists of 1 person) and the issue couldn't be resolved. I even shipped the robot head back to Newgy and they replaced it and I still have the same issue.
I'm just going to use it until it dies, then try to decide between PowerPong and Amicus, or Paddle Palace robot.
