When I was playing badminton competitively there was a number of drills I used to get better footwork. But when I reached my plateau in foot speed there was 2 drills that REALLY helped me increase my fitness/footspeed.

I am at work so I cant find them on youtube right now, but the names of the videos are :

"Chinese Footwork/Fast Feet" and
"Chinese Footwork 2 (Alternatives)"

They are about 10-15 minutes long. And if do 1 of the workouts twice a week I GUARANTEE you will see a great increase in footwork

Awesome exercise workout programs, all I have to do now is get through them.... thanks "townhousecrackers" for posting this information.

Nice, I am glad someone else is getting some use out of them too, they really are great. They definitely are not easy, but you get better at them after a few times. Its been awhile since I have done them, I think I am going to insert them back into the regular regime, thanks for the reminder.

Just looked at the first of these. Wow - pretty intense. Going to have a go at them, maybe with the kids too - they're great at encouraging me!

Thanks for this post, its long process to improve your fitness and speed it cant be in a day. Major thing is that do the right exercise and crucial thing is that doing the strength training exercises. Most people don't know running as they strength training. But targeted workouts geared toward your fitness goals.

It is worth practicing other sports, not only tennis, you can swim, you can play badminton or something that does not require a strong arm but the speed of even fighting sticks unless there is a wrist injury. Many people enjoy Nordic walking or speed skating

She is the only one to use the punching exercises. Just take a look at her forearm musculature.
Be sure you wear MMA training gloves to prevent fist injury.

/Be happy/.
