In South Australia this November & December our ambient temperatures have been extreme. The last few weeks of our district competition were really repressive with some days either in the high 30oC’s or low 40oC’s. Then on the day of our over 50’s competition Christmas Breakup which was in the middle of 4 straight days of over 40oC it reached 42oC. The day was very relaxed with mainly festivities taking place but still concerning. TTSA has a heat related health policy in place but firstly many venues are old with little or no cooling or poor ventilation & I do have concerns because quite a lot of players including myself aren't spring chickens anymore. How are the weather conditions in your part of the world? |

That's really high. Here it's between 10°-15°C: quite warm for the time of year. It's also quite rainy, but that's no surprise. Oh yes: and windy. |

28c with 70% humidity, pretty typical for wintertime. 42c would be brutal, never gets that hot here. |

42c in Melbourne last weekend. It was so hot and brutal that even the ice cream vans were melting - haha! |

Played the finals in 38 celcius inside our centre. It cooled as the night went on but the first match had pretty warm conditions. |

Its a weird `winter` in England, barely any frost, fluctuating temperatures, unusually windy most of the time, and torrential rain at times |
