What is the last day to make a proposal at AGM2020 ( in Korea ? ) ? How much do ITTF member nations usually charge to have a proposal made thru them ? Don't you think individuals should be able tp (legally) bribe National associations to submit their proposals ? What if say a national Association accepts proposals to submit , fee being proportional to how ridiculous a TTF thinks it is or how good the proposal is according to that national association If someone pays all expenses for a national team to go to WC, they get a free proposal If a national association thinks a proposal is crazy & also strongly disagree, they can charge $20000 or more If a national association thinks a proposal is crazy , they can charge $10000 or more If they think proposal is controversial , they can charge $1000 If a national association is neutral about a proposal they can charge $500 If the national association somewhat agrees , they can charge $200 If they strongly agree , they charge $50 What do you think ? What is wrong with raising money to promote the sport. There would also be competition. I may be able to sell my proposal to another desperate association at a lower price. It will like an eBay auction and can be televised like an NBA or NFL draft If this becomes an acceptable practice, what would you propose ? |

Good question regarding the last day to make a proposal to the next ITTF AGM in 2020! Can you (or anyone) find the minutes for the last ITTF AGM in 2019, or the last Bod meeting in 2019? I am hoping to suggest a proposal or two regarding levelling the playing field for: 1) All rubbers with respect to minimum friction - either all have a minimum friction or none do 2) All boosting - either players can boost their rubbers or manufacturers cannot supply them as boosted I would be proposing going through the normal channels, no "bribery" involved as I believe that such proposals, being good for the sport, would be passed on. |

You would probably have to word your proposals to properly reference those rules that would have to be altered, and you would have to propose the actual new wording for those rules. Perhaps you could actually post them here first for comment and refinement. Iskandar |
