To begin with:
--NEWS OF UTTER IMPORTANCE: The World Athletics (formerly IAAF) imposed restrictions on the "exclusive fashion" running shoes one can't purchase on a general marketplace.

Posting the "ITTF in-office" documents is a goodwill act of mine, just to keep forumers informed
<<strictly in-office>> EQC document draft of January17, 2020. To be further discussed with a FIT representative.
EQC draft proposal wrote:
For the sake of fair play in the sport of table tennis and pursuant to the ITTF T4 Regulations (refer the appropriate excerption attached underneath), we consider it a necessary step for ITTF to deploy a regular inspection on player's unused rubbers (e.g. on the sealed rubber packages) with the view to assure that all the rubbers is a generic product available from a retail trade network.

Post subject:  Re: ITTF new moves induced by the WA recent decisions.

Then there is the alleged selling of rubber with different topsheets but the same LARC number, brand and model.

Then there is the alleged supply to top players of new rubbers that are not available to us lesser mortals (possibly covered by this).

Then there is the alleged supply of rubbers that for best performance require boosting.

Then there is the alleged supply of special versions of existing rubbers, again to top players (possibly covered by this).

Do I need to allegedly go on?

And then there's this alleged internal note that Igor seems to have magical access to.

Granting for the sake of argument that the quotation Igor posted is genuine, how would this inspection accomplish anything? Just put the special rubber in the normal commercial package and you've defeated this check.

If every player is required to re-glue his racket with Commercial rubbers sold at local sports shops BEFORE the beginning of the tournament, I am pretty sure about a few upsets and fewer out-right wins at the bottom of the ladder.

Top players can play with ANY equipment, that special rubber usually is their preference that gives them maybe a 1% advantage ?

I would suggest you try getting a club or local league player to try out your racket, I am more than sure they can beat you black and blue with your own bat in a game. While if you tried to with your bat, you gonna lose and if you try with their bat ... you gonna lose so BAD you gonna cry !

We should really be moving along from all this "booster" nonsense and let players boost their rubbers. VOC-free or VOC-full glues are perfectly reasonable way to allow all-levels of players gain a decent performance rubber without risking life and limb to get a "Pro" rubber. Don't force players to buy expensive equipment.

By the way, what is an "excerption"? It seems that every month or two Igor posts what he claims are insider ITTF communications.. I suppose it's a way to make him look like some kind of ITTF insider or "pundit". Not too long ago he claimed there was an upcoming rule that would prevent companies from selling different hardnesses of sponge with a given "topshit".
