This whole Flat Earth thing has been boring for a VERY long time. I'd stopped watching Flat Earth debunking videos years ago because there was absolutely nothing new that the Flat Earthers were bringing up, it was going around and around in circles, like the Earth does, once every 24 hours. Not to mention mind-numbingly stupid.

Until now. By chance I came across this thing called "The Final Experiment". It's supposed to disprove once and for all the Flat Earth, and prove that the Earth is a globe, which spins once every 24 hours, orbits the sun once a year, and has an axis tilted 23.5 degrees to the Ecliptic. What is it exactly? Someone has proposed taking 24 YouTube Flat Earthers and 24 Flat Earth debunkers to Antarctica in December to witness the 24 hour sun which never sets. Apparently there'a a millionaire out there who's willing to foot the bill. It's supposed to happen this December, three months from now (it's almost September as I write this).

Will this prove once and for all that the Earth is a globe? Of course. In fact, countless people have been in Antarctica and have witnessed this ever since the beginning of the 20th century. But will this stop all the Flat Earth pedantry on YouTube? Not on your life.. As many have pointed out, two things will happen.

1. Whichever Flat Earther(s) accepts the invitation is immediately going to be called a "shill" and ostracized by the rest of the Flat Earthers. They'll say he (or she) isn't a REAL Flat Earther, and whatever they report from Antarctica cannot be trusted.

2. They will claim that, no, observing the Midnight Sun in Antarctica does NOT prove that the Earth is a globe - they will make up ad-hoc explanations why the Earth is still flat. They even go so far as to disavow the model they've been using all this while - the Earth being a flat disc with the North Pole in the center and the sun twirling around in a belt, as it moves north and south between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn according to the seasons. Apparently now the Earth is an infinite plane, or perhaps there is a personal Sun and a personal Moon for everyone on Earth. Or there are Sun Simulators the Illuminati will deploy to trick the observers during the trip.

What's been predicted has begun. The following two videos are really amusing to watch.

This is going to get MIGHTY interesting in the next few months. Will Jeran beg off going on the trip? Will any OTHER Flat Earthers join? The meltdown should be quite entertaining, at least. At least it'll be a welcome break from following US politics.

Of course, Mac don't care.. he'll ignore it all and just go on posting videos..

Were you to walk in a straight line you are supposed to return to EXACTLY the same point.

It takes A LOT of trust to believe in such a theory / hypothesis.

You walk or drive 60 miles on a straight road and supposedly up have descended 2400 feet.

Wherever you walk you are supposedly walking down a slope.....
