Indiana Hamster and the Snake Pit of Doom.

I wonder how long this took to set up, and how many takes it took to complete..

33 million views. Wonder what sort of money you can make on YouTube with that sort of viewership.

I like Time Ghost documentaries. They've done WW1, WW2, and between the wars.

Supposedly the words to "Amazing Grace" also fit the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme song pretty well...

Didn't realize Maryanne looked so scary.

How interesting. Apparently up to the late 1960s Christmas wasn't even a public holiday in Scotland. The big celebration was actually Hogmanay (New Year's Day). (So much for Fox News's supposed "War on Christmas"...)

This is an interesting channel. The presenter is half-Scots, one of his parents is, IIRC, from Ghana. And he covers a LOT of Scottish history and culture, often from an interesting perspective.

Interesting. And nothing to do with vaccines. I love obsolete stuff.

I sat through this trailer 13 times a couple weeks ago - they were running a Japanese Film Festival, and they played this trailer before each of those movies. So of course, I had to go watch this movie. Beneath that dark wig is Ms. Stefani Gianotta - I'm not a fan of her music, but she can definitely act. (And I've heard she occasionally has concerts with just her and a piano - I wouldn't mind hearing her do one of those, she definitely can sing.) The part I find funniest about this movie is all the people going around speaking English with "Italian" accents... Also, after watching this movie, the new luxury clothes store that opened on the first floor of the mall where the cineplex was suddenly seemed VERY funny. It was called "Aldo".   Been trying to figure out the brand of Maurizio's camera, though (almost exactly at 1:00).

That long single name line on the prism housing makes me think Rolleiflex. Can't find a model to match that exact design, though. May just as well be some eastern European brand, or even Asian. There were many of them for a while, some with name knockoff from big brands, and quite a few of them made really nice cameras.

Could also be a bogus/toy camera if it is just a prop.

Yeah, I thought it was a Rolleiflex, too - one of the SL35 series. Rollei made a lot of medium format stuff and not so many 35mm SLRs. The other possibility was a Praktica. Rolleiflex would have made more sense for someone for whom money was no object - Praktica were comparatively cheap cameras from East Germany. I don't think they'd have used a toy camera, you can find old SLRs on ebay easily enough. One wonders about the cameras being wielded by the armies of paparazzi in the movie, if there weren't some modern DSLRs in the mix.
