When I was in Amsterdam on sabbatical in 2010 this song was CONSTANTLY on the radio. They had the radio playing all day on the speakers in the lab, so I'd hear it about four times a day. And I never bothered to ask who it was, or what the song was, so I spent the next 12 years, on and off, trying to find it again. And I finally did.

Sounds like something from the 1930s doesn't it?

A very catchy tune, I quite like it.

I've been watching a lot of this guy's videos recently. No virus, no vaccines, no flat earth, just ground beef and chicken livers.

It certainly sounds like that kind of music, right? It sounded out of place amid the modern pop music (Lady Gaga etc.) on Dutch radio in 2010. And it's the only thing I remember that I heard on the radio.

This was surprisingly entertaining. Although quite macabre. Some nice techniques to use if you're a model builder.

Incidentally, this type of doll is called a.. OOAK Doll.

Probably been posted before. But parts of this are hilarious, though very, very sad if you think about it. In case you are wondering, I just don't want to point people to "that other thread".

That's got to be the most posted video here..       Most of us have seen it dozens of times. Turns out it's fake, of course, that's not actually Bruce Lee.

Here's a video I came across a couple weeks back. Just stunning.

Who's Charo? Apparently she was the Lady Gaga or Jennifer Lopez of her time, constantly on TV. But few people knew of her REAL talent, which she didn't get to show off very much, because everyone was more interested in that other side of her, the "cuchi cuchi girl". I came across the video when I read this article:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/30/arts ... charo.html

She's in her 70s now, and still performing.

This is the total antithesis to flat earth, yet it deals with alarming subjects of a global nature. Unlike flat earth, it's actually data driven. You may disagree with the conclusions drawn, but you'd have to explain why and how.. you can't really argue with the what, except to point out (as they do in the video) where certain countries might publish bad numbers.

I guess you'll understand WHY certain countries did certain things at certain points in history, like China's 1 child policy. And how that's come to bite them.

Russians all famous for being great engineers. Huge stone 200 tonnes lied still across roadway. A rural native came up and gave a happy idea.
