Awesome Czech ATM...  Apparently these things are all over Europe, and I wouldn't be surprised if banks all over the world do this same sort of thing. One take-away - NEVER use the ATM's rate of exchange, you'd get a much better rate of exchange if they charge you in the local currency and let your own bank do the conversion. I'll bet this applies to PayPal as well.... Iskandar |

I've listened to this song countless times on the radio (or at the supermarket), but this is the first time I've ever really listened to the words. Back around the late 1990s there was a NPR spot on the radio about some crazy feller who was so taken up with this song that he took three years off work so he could write a book about the hidden meaning behind the lyrics - he claimed he heard God's word in it somehow. (He claimed the person who wrote the song is oblivious to the divinely inspired hidden meaning.) Now having listened to this, what happened to that guy is somewhat more understandable. The versions you hear at the supermarket and on the radio seem to be the Reader's Digest Condensed version - only 2-3 verses long. Iskandar |
