Hi all,

I am an experienced tennis racquet stringer, but I would like to string a squash racquet in the near future. After some tries I figured out that I just don´t know how to do it.
Can somebody explain to me how I can string a squash racquet with my Eagnas challenger tennis racquet stringing machine. This is possible right?

Main points of interest are:
what string tension should I apply? (kg)
do I start at the same place as with a tennis racquet? since the strings are diagonally?

Thanks.

You need water-based glue.

I don't know but I'm aware of the tension.

I used very loose at 18 pounds when I played squash but most used around 25 to 30 pounds. 25 I'd recommend.

I had one squash racquet strung up with poly tennis string and though it lost a bit of power it worked a treat and the strings never broke.

I hated light squash frames too - they have no power.

I thought the recommended tension was printed somewhere on the frame, but I must admit I have zero experience with this.

Never seen those "Power Angle" racquets in real life, but there is help, it seems. Click this link. You may never return :o

Welcome back to us when you decide it is time to leave that dangerous activity behind and start playing the best game in the world. (No, I'm not talking about "Trivial Pursuit".) :P
