I was a Fire Fighter (now retired) from Australia & these fires is the worst countrywide destruction I can remember.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Anyone affected by the wildfires in Australia? We had some bad ones in parts of Canada too, in the past few summers. Where is Haggisv? Haven't seen his posts for a few days. |

We are getting these wildfires often in the past five years here in parts of Canada, and some days I had to stay indoor due to the bad air quality for my asthma even though I was quite far from the fires. These may be the "new norm" from the climate change  . "Thank you" to the firefighters lending us a hand from Australia and other countries. We have teams going (and returning) from Australia to help fighting the fires. Blessings to all! Ed |
